RAMALLAH, July 12, 2018 (WAFA) - The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during June increased by 0.93% compared with May, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.
CPI increased by 0.98% in the West Bank, by 0.54% in Jerusalem outside the Israeli annexed areas and by 0.52% in Gaza Strip.
When compared with June of last year, CPI also increased by 1.02%, an increase of 2.30% in the West Bank and 1.59% in Jerusalem, while it decreased by 0.80% in Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian CPI during the first half of 2018 decreased by 0.76% compared with the same period of the previous year, a decrease by 1.76% in Gaza Strip and by 0.34% in the West Bank, while it increased by 0.41% in Jerusalem.
