18 civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza since early morning

GAZA, May 1, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 18 civilians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting different areas in the war-torn Gaza Strip since the early hours of Thursday, according to medical sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that five people, including children, were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli strike that targeted a house in the western camp area west of Khan Yunis.

A civilian was also killed and others were critically injured in an Israeli artillery bombardment targeting the town of Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis. Additionally, another civilian was killed by gunfire from an Israeli drone in the Al-Manara area southeast of the city.

Two other civilians were killed when Israeli artillery struck farmers in the eastern part of Beit Lahia, north of Gaza. Another civilian was killed in an Israeli shelling that targeted a group of people in the town.

Furthermore, a civilian was killed in an Israeli attack on the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, and another was killed in a strike on the western part of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

A civilian was also injured by an Israeli sniper drone in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
