NABLUS, May 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists launched an attack this evening on Palestinian residents in the village of Asira al-Qibliya, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Hafez Saleh, head of the Asira al-Qibliya Village Council, reported that the colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed areas west of the village, targeting local Palestinian residents. Gunfire was heard in the area, and colonists were reportedly preventing Palestinians from accessing the affected locations. No injuries were reported so far.
The assault marks another escalation in Israeli settler violence, which has surged across the occupied West Bank, particularly in vulnerable rural communities where residents face daily threats to their safety, land, and livelihoods.
