JORDAN VALLEY, May 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists today destroyed solar panels and water pumps belonging to a Palestinian resident in Khirbet al-Deir, a Palestinian hamlet in the northern Jordan Valley region, northeast of the occupied West Bank.
Aref Daraghmeh, a local human rights activist, reported that the colonists targeted equipment owned by Abdul Hakim Daraghmeh, damaging solar energy systems and water pumping devices essential for irrigation and daily use.
The area has faced an ongoing campaign of destruction for months, with Israeli colonists and occupation forces repeatedly targeting solar panels, water pumps, and irrigation networks. These systems are vital for irrigating hundreds of dunams of cultivated land and sustaining local Palestinian communities.
