At least 13 civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza

GAZA, May 1, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 13 Palestinians were killed and others were wounded on Thursday in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.

According to WAFA correspondent, three civilians were killed after Israeli forces targeted a group of farmers in the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

In Gaza City, a father and his two sons were killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, while two more civilians were killed in a separate attack on the Al-Shaaf area, east of Gaza City.

In Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, two civilians were killed and several others were wounded in an Israeli shelling of a tent sheltering displaced people south of the city. Rescue teams also recovered the body of another civilian near the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in central Gaza.

Meanwhile, in the northern town of Beit Hanoun, one civilian was killed in an Israeli strike, and rescue workers recovered the body of a civilian from under the rubble of a home in the Jorat Al-Lout area south of Khan Yunis, five days after it was targeted.

The overall death toll has so far reached 52,418 since the onset of the Israeli relentless aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023. At least 118,091 others have been injured.

This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble or scattered on the streets, inaccessible by ambulance and rescue crews.
