GAZA, May 1, 2025 (WAFA) – The number of civilians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, has surged to 52,418, the majority of whom are children and women. At least 118,091 others have also been injured.
According to medical sources, the toll includes 2,326 civilians who were killed and 6,050 others who were injured since March 18 alone.
The sources further indicated that many victims remain buried under debris or scattered along the roads, as emergency medical and civil defense teams continue to face insurmountable challenges in reaching the affected areas.
Over the past 24 hours, Gaza’s hospitals have received the bodies of 18 individuals, along with 77 others who were injured.
