RAMALLAH, June 6, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth who was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers earlier on Wednesday in the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, was identified as 21 years old Izzeddin Tamimi, according to the Ministry of Health.
Tamimi was shot and critically injured when soldiers opened fire at him during clashes at the village.
The Israeli army said a group of youths threw rocks at soldiers in the village. A soldier, who was hit by rock in the head, opened fire at the youth who threw the rock hitting him.
Palestinians said Tamimi was shot from a close range by three bullets, one of them hit him in the neck. When Palestinian medics attempted to help him, the army prevented them and then took Tamimi away.
