PANAMA CITY, April 11, 2018 (WAFA) – Palestine’s permanent delegate to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, said on Wednesday that the Palestinian leadership is exerting concerted efforts to obtain Panama’s recognition of the State of Palestine.

During his current visit to Panama, Mansour met with Panama’s deputy foreign minister and the head of the International Relations Committee in the parliament where he briefed them on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and Israeli violations against Palestinians and their holy places, particularly following the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Mansour also spoke at the University of Panama on the political situation in Palestine and the challenges facing the Palestinian leadership.
