Weather: Temperature less than annual average, rain in the forecast

 

RAMALLAH, April 11, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy with a rise in temperature while remaining two degrees Celsius lower than its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain showers is also expected for the day on some areas.

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Partially cloudy skies and cold condition, especially in the mountains, are expected at night.

Temperature is expected to reach a high of 19 degrees Celsius in the central West Bank and a low of 10 degrees. In the Jordan Valley, a high in the mid to upper 20s is expected and a low in the mid-teens. In Gaza and the coastal areas, a high of 20 degrees is expected and a low of 15 degrees.

PMD also predicts weather to remain the same on Thursday. Temperature is expected to rise again approaching two degrees Celsius above the annual average.

Friday and Saturday’s weather continues to be partially cloudy to clear but temperature is expected to significantly rise becoming six degrees Celsius above the annual average.
