BETHLEHEM, March 20, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli settlers chopped down on Tuesday fully grown olive trees in Jaba’a village to the southwest of Bethlehem and they seized them, according to a local official.
Hassan Brejieh, from the anti-wall and anti-settlement committee in Bethlehem, told WAFA that Jewish settlers from the illegal settlement of Beit Ayn built on Palestinian lands of Jaba’a, chopped down 30 olive trees in the eastern area of the village.
He pointed out that Jaba’a comes under repeated attacks by Israeli settlers in an attempt to confiscate its lands for the benefit of settlement expansion.
