HEBRON, February 17, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces physically assaulted on Friday night five Palestinian youths in the old town of Hebron in the south of the occupied West Bank.

Witnesses told WAFA correspondent that the soldiers severely beat up the five youths aged between 14 and 21 years, three of them siblings, while they were in their neighborhoods. The youths received bruises all over their face and body.

No reason was given for the assault, which is common by Israeli soldiers and fanatic settlers against Palestinian civilians in that area of Hebron under Israeli military control. Palestinians who try to fend off attacks against them, even by civilian settlers, face the risk of arrest and imprisonment, if not shot dead.
