RAMALLAH, February 17, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday is cloudy, cold and windy with a significant drop in temperature to become two degrees Celsius lower than its annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Scattered rain showers, along with thunderstorms and hail at times, are expected to fall on several areas.
Wind is westerly to southwesterly, moderate to active, with strong winds at times. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature on Saturday in the Palestinian areas is expected to reach a high of mid to low teens and a low of the 10 degrees Celsius and below.
The PMD also predicted weather on Sunday to be cloudy to partially cloudy, cold and windy, while temperature remains the same. Scattered rain showers, along with thunderstorms and hail at times, are expected to fall on several areas.
Weather on Monday is expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold. Temperature is expected to rise approaching two degrees Celsius above its annual average.
Another rise in temperature approaching four degrees Celsius above the annual average is expected on Tuesday with partially cloudy skies.
The PMD warns citizens on Saturday and Sunday against low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog and low clouds. They are also warned against sliding on roads, the formation of floods in low areas and strong winds.
