RAMALLAH, February 14, 2018 (WAFA) - The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine decreased in January by 0.13% compared with December, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Wednesday.
CPI increased by 0.37% in Gaza Strip and by 0.16% in the West Bank, it said.
Overall January CPI decreased by 0.29% when compared with January 2017, while it increased by 0.30% in Gaza Strip and by 0.14% in Jerusalem.
The change in CPI for January is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
