Classes disrupted at a Bethlehem-area school following army attack

 

BETHLEHEM, February 12, 2018 (WAFA) – Classes were disrupted at Tqou High School, east of Bethlehem, on Monday after Israeli soldiers fired gunshots, tear gas and stun grenades in the vicinity of the school, according to a town official.

Tayseer Abu Mufreh, director at Tqou municipality, told WAFA that Israeli soldiers and settlers gathered at the entrance to school before shooting in the air and firing tear gas and stun grenades causing panic among the students who were in their classrooms.

He said the soldiers and settlers attempted to break into the school, but decided against it and left the area, said Abu Mufreh.
