RAMALLAH, February 12, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy to cloudy with a significant drop in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Scattered rain showers are expected to fall on some areas especially during the evening, which is expected to increase at night hours and become heavy with thunderstorms at times.
Wind is northwesterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature on Monday is expected to be around the mid to upper teens in Palestine during the day and drops to under 10 degrees Celsius at night.
The PMD also predicted weather on Tuesday to be cloudy and cold with another drop in temperature expected to become lower than its annual average. Scattered rain showers, heavy and with thunderstorms at times, are expected to fall on several areas.
Partially cloudy to relatively cold conditions are expected for Wednesday. Temperature is expected to rise and become two degrees Celsius higher than its annual average.
The PMD warns citizens on Monday and Tuesday from low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog and low clouds. Citizens are also warned against floods in low areas, strong winds and sliding on roads.
