RAMALLAH, February 9, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Friday mainly sunny and warm with intervals of clouds in daytime and relatively chilly in nighttime, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

No significant change is expected in temperatures which remain about 11 Celsius degrees (°C) above the seasonal average. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 14°C and in Ramallah a high of 22°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza.

Temperatures are set to further slightly rise and approach 12 °C above the average on Saturday with partly cloudy and warm conditions in mountainous areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley.

PMD expects temperatures to drop and approach eight °C above the average on Sunday with mostly cloudy and relatively warm conditions.

Temperatures are set to significantly drop, yet remain slightly above the seasonal average on Monday with partly cloudy conditions and a chance of occasional rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night.
