JERUSALEM, February 5, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli police Monday detained a young Palestinian from al-Wad neighborhood in the old City of Jerusalem after physically assaulting him.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that Israeli police detained the young man and transferred him to the Russian Compound for interrogation. The reason behind his detention remains unclear.
Meanwhile, Israeli army forces intensified the cordon of Hizma town, northeast of Jerusalem and blocked the town’s secondary entrances with earth mounds. The army blocked the main entrances to the town few days ago.
