RAMALLAH, February 5, 2018 (WAFA) - The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine increased by 4.11% compared to the previous year, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Monday.
IPI for 2017 increased due to the increase in the activities of mining and quarrying by 10.93%, the activities of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 8.90%, the activities of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation by 8.63%, and the activities of manufacturing industry by 3.24%.
