BETHLEHEM, February 4, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday detained three workers and prevented them from rehabilitating a water well in the town of al-Khader, south of the West bank district of Bethlehem, and seizing their equipment, said a local activist.  

Ahmad Salah, coordinator of the anti-settlement and wall committee in al-Khader, told WAFA a military force stormed an area to the west of the town of al-Khader and prevented workers from rehabilitating a water well belonging to one of the town‘s locals, citing construction without a permit as a pretext.

Israeli forces reportedly seized equipment and detained three works. They were taken to the nearby Betar Illit  Israeli settlement, built on illegally seized Palestinian land.
