Israeli army raid Jenin village for second time

JENIN, February 3, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli army raided for the second time on Sunday the village of Burqin, to the west of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, in an apparently continuing manhunt for Ahmad Nasr Jarrar, who Israel accuses of being behind the killing of an Israeli settler near Nablus last month.

Large-scale Israeli troops and undercover forces stormed the village in the afternoon hours, raided several homes and embarked on a search campaign that is continuing until the moment.

Local residents said the army broke into many homes in the village and transformed them into watch outposts.

Earlier last night, hundreds of Israeli soldiers raided the village of Burqin, southwest of Jenin, and used sniffer dogs to arrest three brothers from the Jarrar family.
