RAMALLAH, February 3, 2018 (WAFA) – The Arab League has adopted the Palestinian position of finding a multilateral mechanism under the supervision of the United Nations to sponsor a peace process between Palestine and Israel, the League’s assistant secretary-general for Palestine and the occupied Arab territory, Abu Ali, said on Saturday.

He told Voice of Palestine radio that an Arab ministerial delegation is currently working with international groups that set policies around world in order to adopt a strategy for a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on the Arab Peace Initiative and related United Nation’s resolutions.

The Arab foreign ministers discussed in Cairo on Thursday an Arab action to counter the US administration‘s decision to recognize Jerusalem as capital of Israel and decided to work with international actors to establish a multilateral international mechanism under the umbrella of the United Nations to sponsor the peace process.
