Israeli army injures protesters with steel rounds in Qalqilia

 

QALQILIA, February 2, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli army fired rubber-coated steel rounds and injured two protesters during clashes on Friday evening at the northern entrance to Qalqilia city, northwest of the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

Munther Nazzal, director of the Qalqilia Ambulance and Emergency Center, said two protesters were injured with rubber-coated steel rounds during the clashes, and were rushed to Darwish Nazzal public hospital in the city for medical treatment.

He said about 31 other protesters also suffocated as a result of teargas inhalation, and were treated at the scene.

At least 15 Palestinians in Gaza and 13 others in the West Bank were injured during clashes with Israeli forces at many points of friction on the ninth Friday of Rage.
