JERUSALEM, December 5, 2017 (WAFA) - Bulldozers of the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem demolished on Tuesday the foundations of a building in Ras Shehadeh area of Shufat refugee camp, in occupied East Jerusalem, and warned other building of demolition for lack of construction permit, according to WAFA correspondent.
Israeli police forces and crews from the West Jerusalem municipality accompanied a bulldozer in the demolition of foundations.
The crews also handed owners of other buildings demolition orders for construction without permit.
Israel frequently utilizes the lack of construction permits – which are rarely granted to Palestinians - as a pretext for demolishing Palestinian houses.
