RAMALLAH, September 14, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received a thank you letter from the United States administration for offering to help in the relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Harvey that hit Texas three weeks ago.
The Palestinian Authority offered to send medical teams and civil defense crews specialized in rescue operations to assist in the areas hardest hit by the hurricane.
The US administration considered the Palestinian offer an expression of friendship between the two peoples.
