RAMALLAH, September 12, 2017 (WAFA) – Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Member Hanan Ashrawi Tuesday expressed sympathy with the victims of the recent natural disasters worldwide.

“On behalf of the Palestinian leadership and people of Palestine, we express our condolences and sympathy to all those who have recently suffered such enormous natural disasters that have encompassed major areas around the world, including Italy, Mexico, Texas, the Leeward Islands, including Antigua, St. Martin, Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, and, Anguilla, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, and Florida,” said Ashrawi in a statement.

“We are deeply saddened by the disastrous events, and we send messages of moral support and empathy to the victims, their families and loved ones, as well as to the governments and all those involved in relief and recovery efforts.”
