RAMALLAH, May 13, 2017 (WAFA) – Local elections’ polling stations were Saturday opened to Palestinian citizens in the West Bank in order to elect 145 local councils.
Hanna Nasser, head of elections commission, called on all citizens who have the right to vote to cast their votes in their local elections, which opened at 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Around 11,000 security forces personnel had cast a vote on Thursday in early elections.
Gaza is not having local elections after Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, has decided to boycott them.
