NABLUS, April 22, 2017 (WAFA) – Hundreds of Palestinians in the city of Nablus in the north of the West Bank Saturday participated in the funeral of a Palestinian teen shot dead by Israeli police in Jerusalem.
Ahmad Ghazzal, 17, was killed by Israeli police on April 4 in the old city of Jerusalem following alleged stabbing attack. Police had kept his corpse since then until it was returned to his family on Friday.
Participants, including officials and city figures, held the Palestinian flag during the funeral, chanting slogans that condemn Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.
Israel is still holding corpses of several Palestinians killed in circumstances similar to Ghazzal.
