NABLUS, April 19, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli military continued for the third consecutive day to shut down the main entrance to the village of Tel, southwest of Nablus, obstructing Palestinian daily life and movement of vehicles in and out of the village, according to Palestinian security forces.

Army units used earth mounds to block the main entrance to the village, forcing Palestinian vehicles to use alternative and longer routes to reach the nearby city of Nablus and other neighboring villages.

The Israeli military claimed the closure of the road came in response to stone throwing at military vehicles passing nearby, but residents said it was collective punishment.
