RAMALLAH, April 18, 2017 (WAFA) – The prison administration at Ofer military camp and detention center west of Ramallah Tuesday isolated the Palestinian prisoners who joined the two-day old hunger strike declared in Israeli jails in a section of the prison, according to the media committee of the striking prisoners.
While it did not give a number for those isolated, it said the prison administration stripped them of their cloths and forced them to wear the special dark brown prison uniform.
They were also given dirty blankets, it said.
The Israeli Prison Service has adopted harsh punitive measures against the striking prisoners, who number around 1500, in order to break them and force them to call of their strike.
