NABLUS, April 17, 2017 (WAFA) – The oldest Palestinian woman from the village Qaryot, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, has died on Monday, one of her sons told WAFA. She was 109.
Labiba Mahmoud Odeh, born in 1908 who had five sons and two daughters and more than 80 grandchildren, died of natural causes and never suffered from any disease, said her son.
He said his mother was following a healthy eating system, noting that she had lived through the Ottoman period, the British Mandate, the Jordanian rule and the Israeli occupation.
