JERUSALEM, April 16, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities issued on Sunday orders to ban 12 Arab citizens from occupied East Jerusalem from entering al-Aqsa mosque compound for 80 days, WAFA correspondent said.
This came following similar decisions taken by the Israeli authorities to ban entry of Palestinians, including Islamic Awqaf personnel, to al-Aqsa mosque during the celebrations of the Jewish holiday “Passover”, for periods ranging between 15 days and six months.
Palestinians from the occupied West Bank are also banned from entering Jerusalem during the Jewish holiday.
