BETHLEHEM, April 14, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian Friday was shot and injured with a rubber coated-steel bullet and others suffocated as Israeli forces quelled a peaceful Bethlehem protest calling for the release of the bodies of Palestinians who were killed by Israeli forces and are still held by the Israeli authorities.
Israeli forces attacked the protesters and violently suppressed them, firing a barrage of rubber baton rounds, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades against them, shooting and lightly injuring a Palestinian.
A number of protesters suffocated due to tear gas inhalation. They were all treated at the scene.
