RAMALLAH, July 23, 2016 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Unity Government Saturday denounced the deadly shooting attack that took place in Munich, the capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria, on Friday.
The government’s Official spokesperson, Yousif Mahmoud, in a press release, reported on the government’s deep sorrow over the victims that lost their lives in the attack.
The release extended the Palestinian government’s condolences to the government of Germany and its friendly people.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry reiterated the Palestinian government’s outright rejection of terrorism in all its forms, calling for concerted international efforts to combat terrorism.
According to al-Jazeera, “At least 10 people, including the possible suspect, were killed in Friday‘s attack at the Olympia shopping centre.”
The Guardian reported that, ‘A teenager with German-Iranian citizenship has shot and killed nine people and wounded more than 15 at a shopping centre in Munich, in the third attack on civilians in Europe in eight days.”
