HEBRON, July 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinian civilians suffered from tear gas inhalation on Saturday evening during an Israeli military raid in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
According to local media activist Mohammad Awad, Israeli forces stormed the town's Al-Bayyada neighborhood, forcing shop owners to close their businesses and barring the movement of vehicles. Several young men were detained and interrogated at the scene.
The soldiers also fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters, causing dozens of residents to suffer from suffocation due to gas inhalation.
In a related development, Israeli colonists continued their assaults on local farmers, forcing them off their lands in the Wadi al-Sheikh area near the town. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers detained a number of farmers, interrogated them, and threatened them with detention if they returned to their land.
