RAMALLAH, March 28, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday overnight detained seven Palestinians, including two minors, and summoned another during predawn raids across the West Bank, said security and municipal sources.
Forces raided Dier Abu Mashal village, northwest of Ramallah, where they detained three Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their family houses.
The detainees were identified as Bara’ Saleh, Yasin al-Husni and Hani Abu-Taha.
Forces reportedly posted notices on the facades of some local stores, threatening to detain some local youths purportedly for hurling Molotov cocktails and stones at Israeli vehicles travelling along the nearby 465 Road.
Meanwhile in the northern West Bank district of Nablus, forces detained a Palestinian minor during a raid into Iraq Burin village, south of the city.
The detainee was identified as Abdullah Qadus, a minor.
Head of Iraq Burin Village Council, Maher Qa‘dan, said that troops stormed and ransacked the family house of Husam Faqih, who has been detained for 20 days.
In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, forces detained Muhammad Hamamreh, 17, during a predawn raid into Husan village, west of Bethlehem city.
Forces also detained a Palestinian and summoned another during a raid into Beit Fajjar town, south of the city.
Forces detained Salti Thawabteh, 40, and handed Ahmad Dairiya a notice ordering him to appear before intelligence in the Gush Etzion detention and interrogation center.
To the south of Bethlehem, in Hebron district, forces detained Mousa Tarayreh, 25, during a raid into Bani Na‘im town, east of the city.
Forces reportedly stormed the family houses of Abdullah al-Ajlouni and Amer Abu Eisha, who were both shot dead by Israeli soldiers, as well as a lathe belonging to Muhammad Natsheh during raids across Hebron city.
