RAMALLAH, January 26, 2016 (WAFA) – The Arab League announced, in a statement Tuesday, that the government of Saudi Arabia has transferred $60 million to support the Palestinian Authority’s budget for the last three months in 2015.
The league said it had received a memorandum from Saudi Arabia’s permanent delegation to the League proclaiming that the Saudi Fund for Development had transferred $60 million to the PA.
The statement noted that with this financial transfer, Saudi Arabia has honored its financial commitments to the PA for the months of October, November and December in the fiscal year 2015.
