RAMALLAH, August 15, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Saturday evening attacked the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, while other colonists raided the outskirts of the nearby town of Sinjil.

Local sources said colonists attacked the Shaab al-Louz area on the western outskirts of al-Mughayyir, where local Palestinian citizens confronted them. No injuries were reported.

The sources added that colonists attacked Palestinian vehicles in the Marj Sia plain east of al-Mughayyir, along the road leading to the nearby village of Abu Falah. No injuries were reported.

Israeli occupation forces later raided the village to provide protection for the colonists and deployed in several areas while firing live ammunition. No injuries were reported. The forces also raided a home, but no arrests were reported.

Local sources also said colonists stormed the northern outskirts of Sinjil and released their livestock among residents' homes.
