RAMALLAH, January 16, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday blocked the main entrance of the village of Nabi Saleh to the northwest of Ramallah district, hindering the movement of Palestinian locals.
Local sources informed WAFA that the Israeli closure of the village’s main entrance, forces Palestinian locals coming from the municipal area of Bani Zaid al Gharbiyya, which comprise the villages of Beit Reema, Deir Ghassaneh, Kafr Ein, and Qarawat Bani Zeid, to take alternative long detours in order to reach services and livelihoods.
To be noted, the said entrance has been repeatedly blocked by Israeli forces during the past few months of violent unrest. The closure often lasted for days.
