BETHLEHEM, December 8, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight detained
20 Palestinians and summoned two others from several West Bank districts, said
security sources.
In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, Israeli forces
stormed Duheisha Refugee Camp, south of the city, and detained at least five Palestinians and summoned two others for interrogation.
Forces detained Mustafa al-Hasanat, 17, ‘Ali Abu ‘Ajamiyeh, 20,
Muhammad Sarahna, 19, Diyaa al-Ja‘afari, 20, and Qusai Abu Laban, 26, after
breaking into and ransacking their houses.
Forces also handed ‘Oday ‘Ayyad, 21, and Bilal al-Afandi, 25,
notices ordering them to appear before Israeli intelligence in the nearby
detention and interrogation center of Gush Etzion.
Meanwhile in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, forces detained five Palestinians after storming
and tampering with the contents of their houses.
The detainees were identified as Mu’min Zughayir, 19, and his
brother, Salah, 21, ex-detainee Ziad Qawasmah, 39, Fadi Abu Dawood, 28, and
Muhammad al-Haddar, 17.
Furthermore, forces raided several Hebron neighborhoods, where they
broke into and ransacked a house belonging to the family of a Mousa Wazwaz, a
former Palestinian detainee who was expelled to Gaza.
In the meantime, forces detained three
Palestinians from the northern West Bank district of Jenin.
Forces stormed Jaba‘ town, south of Jenin, where they proceeded to
detain two Palestinians after storming their houses.
The detainees were identified as ‘Awad Abu Aoun, 45, and Ihab
Fashafsha, 22.
This took place several hours after Murad Kabaha, a local from Tora
village, northwest of Jenin, was detained at al-Karama border crossing, between
the West Bank and Jordan, while he was traveling back to his village.
In the northern West Bank city of Qalqilya, forces detained two Palestinians during a predawn raid into the city.
Forces detained Murad ‘Abdul-Ghafer, 42, and his relative, Khalil,
20, after breaking into and ransacking their houses.
Furthermore, forces detained two Palestinian as they
raided Tulkarem city in the northern West Bank.
The detainees were identified as Zayed Salman, 40, and ‘Afif
‘Attili, 22.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, police detained two
Palestinians from the city and Qalandiya refugee camp, north of
Jerusalem. The detainees were identified as Akram Hassuna, 16, and Hasan
‘Affana, respectively.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, forces detained a Palestinian as they
raided Deir Abu Mash‘al village, northwest of Ramallah.
The detainee was identified as Hamad Baraghtha, 21.
