BETHLEHEM, October 15, 2015
(WAFA) – Israeli army and police forces overnight and early Thursday detained 24
Palestinians from across the West Bank districts, including Jerusalem,
according to local and security sources.
In Bethlehem, forces detained
three Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes in Aida Refugee
Camp. The detainees was identified as Saleh Sarhan 23, Khalil Abu Aker, 22, and
Mohammed Abu Aker, 29.
Forces further handed two
brothers Ammar, 32, and Majdi Abu Aker, 28, notices ordering them to appear
before the Israeli intelligence at Guch Etzion settlement bloc.
In Nablus, at least seven Palestinians were
detained from the villages of Tal and Madama to the southwest. They were identified as Mohammed Asida,
33, and Mo’tasim Rehan, 35, in addition to a third who was injured during renewed Huwwara
clashes. He was identified as Jihad Hindi, 23.
Meanwhile, Huthayfa and Bashir
Zeyyadeh, and Mahmoud Qat were detained from the village of Madama. Forces also detained Adnan al-Aker from Nablus city.
In East Jerusalem, Israeli police detained
five Palestinians during aggressive predawn house to house raids in Jabal
al-Mukaber area. They were identified as Fadi and Shadi Nasir, Mu’taaz Maher,
Mohammed Srour, and Adnan Elyyan.
In the Hebron area, forces detained eight Palestinians during raid and search campaigns into the city of Hebron, and the towns of Beit Ola and Beit Ummar. They were identified as Mahmoud al-Omleh, 27, Abdel al-Rahman al-Hadad, 21, Hamza Abu Ayyash, 17, Ameer Sabarneh, 22, Malik Za’aqiq, 18, Ra’afat al-Ja’abari, 20, and Khaled Abu Isheh.
Force further detained a Palestinian local from Hebron's Beit Ummar town at Jaba'a Israeli Military Checkpoint, southeast of Ramallah. He was identified as Mohammed Abu Mariya, 20.
To be noted, the total number of Palestinians detained from the Beit Ummar town since the beginning of October reached 28 people, including nine under the age of 18.
In Jenin, army soldiers detained Suliman Khalilyeh after raiding and searching his family’s home in the town of Jaba’a to the south. Forces further raided other homes in the area, spurring clashes with Palestinian locals.
