TULKARM, August 19, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians on Wednesday from Tulkarm city and the eastern suburb of Iktaba.
According to local sources, Israeli forces raided and searched the homes of members of the Rajab family in Iktaba, ransacking and damaging their contents. They detained Hilal Mustafa Rajab, 45, his son Mohammad, 20, Ismail Mustafa Rajab, 26, and Mohammad Bilal Rajab, 21.
The forces also detained Mohammad Wafa Awwad, 21, after raiding his father's home in Tulkarm. His father, Wafa Awwad, is a WAFA photographer in the city.
During the raid, Israeli forces damaged the home’s contents and stole a sum of money.
