RAMALLAH, August 16, 2026 (WAFA) — Pope Leo XIV today renewed his call for an end to repeated acts of violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, urging the international community to act urgently to advance the two-state solution and achieve a just and lasting peace.
Following the recitation of the Angelus prayer in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV said he was renewing his appeal for an end to the repeated violence against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.
