RAMALLAH, August 16, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists today set up tents in the Wadi al-Zaytoun area south of the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, in preparation for establishing a new settlement outpost.
Local sources reported that the colonists erected several tents in the area as a step toward establishing a new settlement outpost on Palestinian-owned land.
The establishment of the new outpost would bring the number of colonial outposts surrounding Umm Safa to six, amid escalating settler attacks and the seizure of additional land in the area.
