RAMALLAH, August 16, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces today handed owners of several homes in the town of Beit Liqya, southwest of Ramallah, notices ordering a halt to construction and demolition.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces raided the town and handed the homeowners the notices. Details regarding the number of homes targeted and the grounds cited by the Israeli authorities for issuing the orders were not immediately available.
