JERUSALEM, August 12, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli  forces stormed the Qalandiya refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday, deploying throughout several of its neighborhoods and issuing demolition orders for a number of structures and buildings.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces raided the camp through its main gate and spread out across several neighborhoods, while military vehicles were concentrated in the area known as al-Kassarat.

The sources added that Israeli troops also issued several demolition notices during the raid, though the exact number of structures and buildings targeted remains unclear.

The measures come amid continued Israeli escalation in Qalandia refugee camp and its surroundings, including repeated raids, detentions, and attacks against residents and their property.
