BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, August 12, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces today closed the entrances to the villages of Marah Rabah and Al-Manshiya, south of Bethlehem.

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces closed the two iron gates installed at the entrances to the villages and prevented Palestinian vehicles from passing, disrupting residents' movement and forcing them to take alternative routes.

Israeli forces have continued tightening military restrictions across Bethlehem Governorate by closing the entrances to several villages and towns with iron gates and setting up military checkpoints, obstructing residents' movement and access to their workplaces and educational and healthcare institutions.
