TUBAS, August 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today destroyed water pipelines in the areas of Atouf and Ras al-Ahmar, southeast of Tubas.

Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh told WAFA that the occupation forces destroyed the pipelines to clear the way for the construction of a military road in the area.

The area has been subjected to land-leveling operations for months, including the destruction of water pipelines and the filling of artesian wells, causing significant economic losses to the agricultural sector.

Late last year, the occupation authorities announced plans to construct a military road extending about 22 kilometers from the Ein Shibli checkpoint, southeast of Tubas, to the Tayasir checkpoint, east of Tubas.
