HEBRON, July 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces demolished on Wednesday a factory and agricultural structures and razed land in the town of Beit Ula, northwest of Hebron.
Beit Ula Mayor Mahmoud al-Sarrahin told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the al-Mikhd area, west of the town, and demolished a factory that manufactured and decorated iron and produced solar panel mounts.
Wael Abu Habtain “Farash,” a member of the committee monitoring and strengthening the resilience of citizens in western Beit Ula, said to WAFA that the factory belonged to Ishaq Muhammad al-Atrash and Rajai al-Amleh, and covered an area of over 800 square meters.
He added that Israeli forces also demolished agricultural structures, approximately 20 square meters in size, belonging to Muhammad Khalid Sidr, Osama Farash, and Ahmad Yusuf al-Amleh.
They also razed stone walls and land planted with olive trees and other crops, covering an area of 1,500 square meters, surrounding the facility.
Residents of the area said, "We were surprised by the demolition process that affected the components of the factory, including equipment, machinery, barracks, goods, offices and other facilities, and we were unable to evacuate them."
He also added, "This is the fourth factory to be demolished in the area, causing losses estimated at millions of dollars for factory owners, disrupting the work of hundreds of laborers, and exacerbating the unemployment rate."
