NABLUS, July 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday uprooted dozens of fruit trees in the town of Madama, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.
They reported that the occupation forces escorted a bulldozer to a tract of cultivated land adjacent to the colonial bypass road, where the heavy machinery uprooted dozens of olive, almond, fig, and cactus trees, under the pretext of their proximity to the road.
They noted that the attack was the latest of the Israeli occupation authorities’ ongoing encroachments against Palestinian-owned agricultural land in the Nablus governorate as part of policies aimed at tightening restrictions on Palestinians and expanding colonial settlement activities.
