JERUSALEM, June 28, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was shot and wounded, and two others were detained during an Israeli military raid on the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, early Sunday.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, a young Palestinian was shot in the foot with live ammunition during the raid and was transferred to hospital for treatment.
Israeli forces also detained two Palestinians during the raid.
The governorate added that Israeli soldiers conducted field interrogations of several young Palestinians after detaining them temporarily, while raiding multiple homes, ransacking their contents and causing damage as part of a large-scale search campaign in the camp.
